1. Before connecting

1. Confirm that both HarmonyOS and Windows endpoints accepted the same current policy version.
2. Confirm that the Windows 10/11 x64 helper is running and both endpoints are on the same LAN.
3. Verify the manually entered host and TCP 8765. Remote-window media uses TCP 8769 and remains experimental. The current version enables Windows system-audio transmission; it is sent only when the user explicitly enables it, the active WebRTC session has the capability, and privacy consent is valid. Direct RDP audio remains unsupported.
4. No cloud account is required. Do not attempt automatic USB tethering.

2. RDP and separate windows

Direct RDP does not require the Windows helper. Verify the user-selected RDP host, port (normally 3389), account, network reachability, and server certificate fingerprint. Never send a password or certificate details to support. The form clears its password field after submit; reconnecting after disconnect requires entering it again.

Drag tabs to create a separate window. If a tab does not detach, confirm that privacy consent is active, the tab still exists, and the drag gesture completed. A detached window shares the main window's privacy and session state; it is not another account or connection stack.

3. Local diagnostics

The allowlist covers versions, hashes, public state, listener/firewall facts, and a redacted log tail. Passwords, credentials, pairing secrets, resume tokens, SDP/ICE, typed text, raw pixels, and media payloads must not be included.

4. Safe feedback

Inspect the ZIP before sending it. Do not provide passwords, pairing codes, tokens, identity documents, internal IDs, unredacted screenshots, or remote content. Send the minimum necessary version, public error code, and reproduction steps to exusiai231@qq.com.

5. Current blocker

This version does not use AppGallery Connect invite testing. The HAP is distributed through the public external link above; this page does not claim Huawei AppGallery publication, review, or signing status.

The available Windows control/stub package records appGalleryReviewReady=false and is not a complete store reviewer companion. Playwright images are layout previews, not emulator or physical-device screenshots.

6. Cleanup

Delete diagnostic archives when they are no longer needed. For a full endpoint reset, follow the separate actions under Data rights.
